How Full Is Your Bucket?

Things have a tendency to catch up with us! Eventually, all the things we throw into the mix become so overwhelming, that we experience a toxic overload and our immune systems come under attack and at times starting attacking us as it seems! This is usually noticed in symptoms and associated autoimmune conditions like little pains, big pains, stiffness, chronic itching, headaches and Migraines, Eczema or Psoriasis, high blood pressure, heart disease, heartburn and G.E.R.D., IBS/IBD and Chrons, insulin resistance, diabetes, and Alzheimer’s; acidity in the blood, cancer, arthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis, depression, anxiety, dementia, “brain-fog,” excess weight, endocrine disruption including Hyperthyroidism and Hypothyroidism, and many others conditions.

We live in a world where we are surrounded by pollution. It’s in the air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat, the soil we grow our food in and then more from chemicals used to grow that food, and genetically modified foods. Petroleum products and plastics (phthalates) fill our environment. Many take medications that do more harm in some cases than they do good that tend to tax our livers. Many work at obs they can’t stand or simply find too much stress in their everyday lives to keep up. You name it, it’s out there to get us.

Many are sick and know it, yet many more are sick and haven’t learned the sad truth of it yet! The fact is, we are bombarded by so many things in our environment and our bodies can’t handle it, unless we learn how to eliminate as many toxins and toxic effects in our lives as we can. The strongest bridge in the world still has limits and so do we! Each of us needs to know what those are. If you don’t do this for yourself, chances are, no one else will!

So What Can We Do To Maintain Proper Elimination?

I’m asked this question all the time. And to be honest, the answer is not getting easier. We must address the causes! There may not be a lot we can do about the air we breathe, aside from wearing a mask and that’s not very practical. We can filter the water we drink and that we bath or shower in. We can do what we can to get off any medications and often times, there are healthy and natural alternatives for many of the conditions we use them for. We can learn ways to better cope with the stress that confronts us. And there are simple and practical “steps” we can take to assure for our optimal health. One that is at the top of our list is to follow a diet that is compatible with the human organism.
